A modern A-frame nestled in the tall pines of Kachina Village, The Ponderosa Haus is your elevated escape into the mountains—where rustic charm meets curated comfort. Just 10 minutes from Flagstaff and 35 minutes from Sedona’s red rock views, this three-bedroom retreat makes it easy to unplug while still staying connected to the best of Northern Arizona.

Whether you’re here for hiking, skiing, or simply slowing down, the 600 sq ft wraparound deck and oversized windows invite you to breathe in the fresh mountain air and take in the serene surroundings. Inside, you’ll find a cozy yet contemporary cabin designed for comfort, connection, and a little adventure.

Inside, the home features three well-appointed bedrooms—two queen rooms on the main floor and a king suite upstairs with a private bathroom. The living space includes a fully equipped kitchen with both a Keurig and a pour-over coffee setup, high-speed WiFi, two smart TVs with streaming apps, and a cozy loft workspace for remote working. A dedicated laundry area and thoughtful touches like board games, a pack-n-play, and premium mattresses ensure a comfortable stay for families and small groups alike.

Outside, the expansive deck invites you to enjoy fresh air and forest views year-round. In the warmer months, guests can make use of the gas grill, outdoor dining table, and lounge seating. The private six-person hot tub is available year-round for stargazing or post-adventure relaxation. Please note that outdoor furnishings are stored away during snowy months, and propane tanks for the grill and firepit are provided and replenished as needed—guests will be reimbursed if a tank refill is required during your stay.

Please note: This property is situated on a hillside and requires guests to climb multiple steps to access the main entrance. Alternate access is available in summer months but not during snow season. The garage is not accessible to guests. This is a no-pet property; however, service animals may be considered with prior approval, supporting documentation, and a cleaning fee. We take great pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming space and follow enhanced cleaning protocols between each stay to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
